The soaps are coloured using only natural colourings and scented with pure essential oils. They are available in various scents and colours and some are exfoliating with the addition of either sesame seeds or blue poppy seeds. Unscented soaps are also available. The soaps come wrapped in attractive cellophane wrappers making them ideal as a gift or as a treat for yourself. A variety of Christmas and other cellophanes are available. The use of organic and natural ingredients and the avoidance of synthetic colourings and scents make the soaps good for you and the environment. They are free of surfactants (sodium lauryl sulphate or SLS and sodium laureth sulphate or SLES). They are also free of parabens and mineral oils. These chemicals have been linked with adverse health effects.
